Owner of Albany retail plaza working to reenergize the property

The expansion of the downtown Albany convention center would include a pedestrian bridge linking to a new structure across the street.

The project includes an eight-lane swimming pool, splash pad, lounge area, locker rooms and bathrooms at Knickerbacker Park.

The site has easy access to Interstate 90 and more than 1,500 feet of frontage along the highway.
