Plan for Latham new-build grocery store gets final approval

The expansion of the downtown Albany convention center would include a pedestrian bridge linking to a new structure across the street.

The site has easy access to Interstate 90 and more than 1,500 feet of frontage along the highway.

The buyers are two local doctors.
